The Revenge of the NYC Trip
Yeah, I know how it looks. This looks like a terrible movie title, and such as why I chose it. Here’s why..
After posting I did grab a beer, check some emails, and even watched an episode of Rome (season 2), during the show was when I noticed that I had a sniffle, which turned out to be a full blown runny-nose a few minutes later. By the time pulled into Union Station my head was feeling congested and a trip into the cold forced my nose to run even faster.
Arriving home, it was all I could do to fall into bed, my head was pounding, and now my throat was dry and scratchy. #@$@%
This morning was about the same except for that my chest now feels congested and I don’t dare cough as I am afraid of tearing my throat up.
Talking to Kristie this morning I told her about how I was feeling. You would think I could get a little sympathy, maybe an “aww”. Nope, not my beloved, her response was “Well you better get better by Sunday!” You see Sunday is Kristie’s birthday party and this year as being her boyfriend I decided I would host it at my apartment. We have invited both families to come so the turn out is fairly good. So when she said what she did, here is what I heard “Dude, people are coming to give me presents, you better be well enough for that to still happen.” I told her so, her reply, “uh, yeah.” LOL, she’s too funny!!!
So there is the last installment of the NYC Trip. I am stopping there, it’s not going to go any further. LOL
