Yessir, it’s a proud day for me as I get to show off my son more than normally :).

I am and always have been the biggest fan of my son, and he has made me feel great yet again.

This weekend I am in Ohio visiting him for the holidays, he couldn’t come down this year as his wrestling took precedence. Today we spent 10 hours in a High School Gym at a wrestling match. Consisting of 15 teams from around the counties, there were about 100 or so wrestlers. Rick wrestles as a heavyweight, and so do 2 other of his teammates, so we knew he had to take both of them on during the day. He lost his first match (to a teammate) but came back strong to beat his other teammate and another wrestler to take 3rd in todays Tournament!!! This is Rick’s best placing this year, and he was so excited to get a medal for his efforts. Along with his win, his school came out on top of all the others to take home the trophy today.

Here are his two wins. The first is with another school, and he takes no time to pin him!

The second one below is the match that gave him third place. A match against one of his teammates he also took this one in the first round!
