So today I had my second EVLT procedure on my leg. If anyone doesn’t know what that is, well it’s a procedure to remove varicose veins. They go in with a laser and cut off the varicose veins from the main vein my legs. So today they bottom half of my left leg was done, they only use a local to numb you, but it made my toes tingly all day. The next procedure is to go in and get all the remains taken out in a month or so. Sounds like fun huh??? Not!!!! I have to wear a compression stocking for the next week!!!! The good thing is, I can still ride!!!

Other than that, things are going good. Shelley and I are coming along slowly, but very nicely. I have a Poker Run this weekend with the Motorcycle Club. I have a possible few opportunities for a new job, but I will keep the details to myself for now, in case they don’t work out.

So tonight I am making dinner for Shelley. I am making a new dish which is making me nervous a bit, but I am confident I can pull it off. Also tonight I am hoping to explain more about geocaching, she seems pretty interested so this is a good thing.

Tomorrow AM I have to be in Manassas by 7 to meet up with some group members from the motorcycle club. We are going to have breakfast and then run to the Pentagon to watch a Police Motorcycle competition or “Rodeo”. It’s where various agencies get to compete against each other on motorcycle skills tests. It’s an awesome experience to watch them control their bikes in ways I can only dream of. I am hoping to get some tips, and learn a lot. I have a short video of a demo I shot last weekend, let’s see if I can get it posted here. Nope, too big, going to have to find an editor before I post.

Tomorrow night I am going to go watch a local youth football game that Shelley is the Cheerleading coach for. I enjoy watching the youth games, and no drama like the NFL

Busy weekend, but not so busy friday at work!!! LOL Trying to find things to wrap up before heading out.

Tonight Shelley and I went out for coffee. It’s been since Saturday since we have seen each other but we chat when we can online. I rode my bike up to Sterling where she lives, it’s only a few minutes up the road, and it was a beautiful night to ride. Shelley used to ride, and owned a Harley, I think she would definitely take it for a ride if I offered.

Earlier today while chatting we had a little impromptu game of word associations (about an hour or so, but when you are working at the same time it take a while) I have never done that before and I really enjoyed it. I feel as though we got answers to questions about each other without asking.

We stayed out probably later than what we should have. And I wasn’t ready to go. I could probably spend hours talking with her. Although sometimes I feel like I do most of the talking, She’s a good listener, (her words). LOL

So now I am still wired after a quad, and a regular coffee. So I will probably not fall asleep anytime soon. That’s ok, I am almost done with the entire West Wing series. I think I have 2 more DVD’s. I can probably watch an episode tonight.
